Windstream names Christopher King vice president of investor relationsLITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Windstream (NASDAQ: WIN), a leading provider of advanced network communications and technology solutions, today announced that it has named Christopher King as vice president of investor relations.
King was a senior equity research analyst for telecom and cable services at Legg Mason and Stifel Nicolaus and covered Windstream and several of its predecessor and acquired companies, along with numerous other companies in the telecom space.
He most recently served as vice president of financial planning and analysis for Curo Health Services, Inc., a private-equity owned healthcare company.
At Windstream, he will manage the company’s interactions with the investment community, including institutional and individual stockholders and fixed-income investors.
“Chris was a well-respected telecom equity analyst for 13 years and earned multiple awards for his objective research coverage. His deep understanding of the industry and capital markets uniquely suit him to lead our IR efforts and effectively communicate how Windstream’s strategy is creating value for shareholders. King holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and economics from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Maryland.
