ROCHESTER, N.Y.—Allworx Corp., a Windstream (Nasdaq: WIN) company and award-winning developer of Internet Protocol (IP) phone systems, has been recognized as one of the Best 2013 Channel Vendors in the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) category by Business Solutions magazine. This is the fourth time in five years that Allworx has been ranked for its excellence in VoIP services.
Business Solutions magazine partnered with Penn State University to conduct a national Web-based survey, asking its Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to rate their vendor partners across seven categories, including: service/support, channel friendly, channel program, product features, product reliability, product innovation and adequate VAR margins. A total of 4,680 votes were cast from mid-September through early October, making the survey one of the largest of its kind.
“We are honored to be recognized by our customers for the VoIP solutions we provide,” said Chris Hasenauer, vice president and general manager of Allworx. “This recognition is a testament to the core elements of Allworx: innovation, value, reliability, customer focus and quality. We plan to further advance and develop our product lines, continuing our commitment to provide exceptional services to all Allworx partners and customers.”
For the Best Channel Vendors awards, Business Solutions magazine rates companies across 13 different product categories, selecting only the top 5 percent of vendors in each one. In addition to the VoIP category in which Allworx was recognized, other categories include Backup & Recovery, Data Collection & Mobility, Data Collection Label Software, ECM Hardware, ECM Software, General Computing, Networking & Security, Payment Processing, Physical Security, POS Hardware, POS Software, PSA Software and RMM Software. The complete list of 2013 Best Channel Vendors is featured in the January 2014 issue of Business Solutions magazine. Business Solutions magazine can be found at www.bsminfo.com.
