Windstream expands Advanced Application Reporting nationwideLITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Windstream (Nasdaq: WIN) announced today that its Advanced Application Reporting (AAR) product for enterprise business customers is now available throughout its entire footprint across the nation. AAR provides enterprise businesses with comprehensive, near real-time visibility into their Wide Area Network (WAN) traffic, enabling them to address performance problems faster, make informed infrastructure investments and optimize network connectivity.
“Offering a solution for IT professionals to access their WAN bandwidth information and intelligence and perform their jobs more efficiently is a priority for Windstream,” said Don Perkins, senior vice president for Enterprise Business Marketing. “We’re proud to offer Advanced Application Reporting to enterprises nationwide and of our commitment to providing superior network communications solutions and operations.”
Windstream enterprise customers will now be able to use AAR to collect, format and display WAN performance statistics in numerous reporting functions, reflecting network activity for multiple intervals (hour, last day, and last week). The added value of this solution is detailed reporting metrics of network traffic patterns and assistance in support, troubleshooting, new application deployment and bandwidth planning.
Ideal for multi-site data network service customers including Ethernet Internet, Dedicated Internet, MPLS and VLS services, AAR enables customers to utilize bandwidth more efficiently and aid in capacity planning by giving greater visibility into who and how the network bandwidth is being used. Additionally, AAR provides the luxury of passive data collection without the need to deploy on-site probes, allowing for access from anywhere in the WAN network.
