Windstream appoints Eric Einhorn VP of Federal Government AffairsLITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Windstream Corporation (NYSE: WIN) has named Eric Einhorn vice president of federal government affairs. Einhorn will lead the company’s Washington, D.C., office, with responsibility for overseeing Windstream’s interests before Congress and the FCC.

"Our industry is changing rapidly and we look forward to Eric’s leadership enabling us to play a more active role as existing policies are debated and reformed."
Einhorn most recently served as executive director-federal regulatory at AT&T (formerly SBC). Prior to that, Einhorn worked at the FCC where he served in several roles including chief of the Telecommunications Access Policy Division in the Wireline Competition Bureau.
Einhorn has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a law degree from Boston College Law School, where he also was an executive editor of the Law Review.
