Windstream names Clint Highfill director of federal legislative affairs and legislative counsel

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Windstream Corporation (NYSE: WIN) has named Clint Highfill director of federal legislative affairs and legislative counsel. Highfill will be responsible for advocating Windstream’s interests before the United States Congress.   


"We're delighted to have Clint round out Windstream's Washington office," said Eric Einhorn, vice president of federal government affairs. "Clint knows both our industry and Capitol Hill. He will be a highly effective advocate for Windstream's legislative interests."


Prior to joining Windstream, Highfill served as director of government affairs at USTelecom. He previously worked for five years as a legislative assistant to former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D.


Highfill has a bachelor's degree from Stanford University, a master's degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and a law degree from American University.
